Hello Members,
We want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for the condition of the front nine fairways on our golf course. Unfortunately, due to recent weather and cart traffic, the fairways have developed a hard turf effect that has slipped beyond our control. We should have been more proactive in keeping the carts off the fairway. We understand how disappointing this is for all of you.
To improve our course conditions moving forward, we have outlined the following remedies:
– We are taking action by seeding and fertilizing both the front and back nine fairways.
– Weather permitting, we plan to sod the fairways and greens in the most stressed areas.
– We will be spot spraying Bermuda and crabgrass in affected areas.
– We will smooth out the back nine fairways through aerification and vertical cutting.
– We have been fixing drainage areas that caused black algae (Back nine).
With the weather returning to more favorable conditions, we are optimistic that we will see improvement soon.
Our maintenance staff is committed to providing the best possible conditions.
We are grateful for your continued support and understanding. Thank you for your patience during this time.
